Andalusia High School- graduated with honors- 2006

I am so very excited to be part of the Holly Hill family!  I love inspiring children to believe in themselves and to reach their fullest potential in academics as well as in all other areas of life.  I fully believe in every one of my students and devote my energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to helping them succeed!

I have been teaching at Holly Hill ever since I graduated from Troy University in 2010.  I taught my first two years in sixth grade and have been in fifth grade ever since!  I am excited to see what all we will accomplish this year!

I grew up in Andalusia, Alabama where I lived with my mom, dad, and brother.  I attended Church Street Elementary, Andalusia Middle, and Andalusia High School. GO BULLDOGS

While in school, I participated in many activities such as band-where I played flute and twirled on the majorette line-, softball, and many honor societies.

After graduating high school, I moved on to TROY University to pursue my dream of becoming an elementary school teacher.

At TROY, I was active in many organizations such as the Baptist Campus Ministries, Kappa Delta Pi education honor society-where I held the office of treasurer, Phi Kappa Phi honor society, and Mortar Board honor society-where I also held the office of treasurer.

Despite my busy academic schedule, I always made time to cheer on TROJAN football!!

After graduating from TROY, I applied for teaching positions close to home.  I was ecstatic when Mrs. Mitten offered me a job teaching at Holly Hill!!  After my first year teaching, I married my wonderful husband, Justin Archer. Justin is empolyed at The Grace Place Church, where he is the Youth Pastor.  I am excited to see what this year brings, and hope I help make this year your very best!
